You were busy scrolling through your dashboard when you hear a knock on the door. You get up, cursing the person on the other side for daring to lift you out of your state of lethargy, and open the door to find no one there. You close the door, muttering about idiots who still think it’s funny to knock on a person’s door and run off and go back to your computer, when you see that it’s nothing but a dark, blank screen. 

The day couldn’t get any worse and you pin it down as the consequence of getting up in the first place. You hate the person who had the gall to knock even more and you try to restart your computer. Instead of what it normall does, a small square of light opens up right in the center, almost like a doorway. You can see two silhouettes standing side by side and you want to turn your computer off, but somehow you can’t.

Light floods through the screen and everything becomes clearer. There is a tall, thin man in a blue suit. He is accompanied by a woman with red hair and modern clothing and they walk towards the screen. It’s almost as if they’re actually there with you. And that’s when you recognize him.

“Oh, hello!” he says. You’ve been waiting you whole life to hear this man talk to you and when it finally does happen, you’re left speechless. There is not a single thing that you can think to say. You try to remind yourself that this isn’t actually real and that this is probably some sort of cruel prank.

“Sorry to burst in on you like this!” he says. “Okay if we stop here for a bit?”

You can’t do anything but nod mutely. The woman waves at you and you raise a hand in a feeble attempt at a reciprocation.

A hand reaches through the screen. By now, you have accepted this for all of it’s total and complete weirdness.

“We need your help,” the man says, reaching for your hand. “We were at your door and when you opened it, we ended up in here. Not sure how that happened, never had it happen before actually.”

The woman rolls her eyes and gives you a look that clearly says “The things I put up with for this skinny idiot.”

You want to ask how this is possible, but given the current circumstances, you don’t think anything is impossible anymore. You reach for his hand when you hear a second knock at the door. It sounds urgent and you can hear the faint cries of the same man in your computer screen telling you not to listen to anything that your computer might be telling you. It’s a trick. He is an imposter.

The man in the computer shakes his head vehemently and the woman begs you to not believe the man in the door. She doesn’t want to be stuck in your computer forever because she needs to get back to her grandfather. They tell you that if the man at the door (who they refer to as Error) gets anywhere near you, you will be sucked into the Virus.

You don’t know who to believe and you stare at the man in the computer. The hand is outstretched and all you need to do is grasp it or turn away and answer the door.

Who would you believe?

Okay so that totally got me scared for a little. Because when we heard that Derek is older than we think, my friend joked that maybe he’s immortal. And then this happened, and I freaked out, because what if he was from a different century, and just slipped for a moment?

Okay, I’m having a moment. Let me have a minute to get over this video. Shit I mean … This nearly killed me. I often type into my tags that I’m crying but this time I really mean it. Hp has been over for a year now and I still think that it’s the best damn thing that ever happened to me. And it will never truly end for me. Because I’m sitting here crying over these characters, over this fantastic series which gave me so much. Harry Potter was the first book I’ve ever read and it changed me. I guess I’ll never find the right words to explain my love for these books and movies … But I just wanna say one thing: Joanne K. Rowling … THANK YOU SO, I OWE YOU SO MUCH.
